Magazine Pitch Evaluation
I think my pitch went down fairly well with the rest of the class, most of the comments and feedback that I was given said that I have a 'very good understanding of what is going to be in my magazine', and 'that I know about the Genre that I have chose to do'. They also said that 'it is different as not many of the class are doing an Electronically based magazine'. Furthermore, another person said that 'I had chosen a good price for a monthly magazine as it wasn't too high or low'. Someone said that I had 'good ideas, and that it is very unique'. The genre of music that I chose would mainly suit a Male audience, but It could also suit woman audiences if they were interested in it. The constructive criticism that I received was that 'I have to decide on the name for the magazine', I have now chosen the name 'Lazer' because it fits in with the music genre that I have picked. Other Criticism that received was that 'I didn't say anything a lot the layout', my layout will be fairly simple but with enough information so that the audience will know what the point is that my magazine will be trying to get across, my magazine will contain an equal amount of writing and pictures. The magazine price that I chose seemed like it would work, it is about £3.50 and for a monthly magazine that is going to be a glossy magazine, it isn't too expensive or too under priced. The reason I chose to do a monthly magazine was because there isn't a vast amount of people that are making it, but It is an upcoming genre that may well get a big audience in the future, if I made it a weekly magazine I would be worried that there might not be enough information throughout the week to fill it.
